For our Bruker AXS location in Kontich (Belgium), we are looking for Strategic Buyer (m/w/d)

• Optimizing procurement processes is your constant focus
• You are used to conducting inquiries and price negotiations at a very high level
• You are responsible for a large part of contract management and, with your support, achieve the goals you have set for yourself
• You enjoy the challenge and take over a well-organized area of responsibility that you continuously improve independently
• Working in cross-site teams is not foreign to you, and you do not hesitate to do so in English
• You achieve synergy effects across national and international locations with your positive attitude
• You work closely with work preparation, production, and development in new product development
• You control the reporting of your area of responsibility yourself, thereby ensuring transparency and acceptance
• You support quality management in preventive quality initiatives

• To work in this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree or an education in a commercial field with additional qualifications such as business economist, specialist business administrator, or specialist purchaser. Also, applicants from a relevant technical field are welcome
• You should have several years of professional experience in strategic procurement in a manufacturing company
• We expect flexibility, assertiveness, negotiating skills, teamwork, and independent work
• You should have a good command of computer applications such as MS Office
• Good ERP knowledge (SAP or comparable) is essential
• Good English and Dutch skills in writing and speaking are necessary for this position
